Summary

This article examines important factors for the implementation of the concept of "Sustainable Development" in Kazakhstan. These factors include the quality of human capital and the development of the innovation sphere. Their special role and their impact on the country's ecological and economic system are underlined. Using the statistical material, the level of their development in Kazakhstan is shown.
